Art Walk with Greg Keeler

"Praise to the wind and to the hidden sun!

The current slides away; the river stays.

Did you think you were the only one?"

- Greg Keeler "The River Stays",  Bluebird Run

Greg Keeler is a Montana songwriter, poet, writer, artist, humorist, and professor. He also plays guitar, harmonica, and kazoo. He’ll be sharing his poets-eye-view with us for a reading of his newest collection The Bluebird Run for the Downtown Bozeman Art Walk - Friday, August 10th at 6pm. This monumental collection of 180 new sonnets ranges from humorous flights to poignant meditations on loss, love, aging, and the fate of humanity faced with looming environmental and social crises. Fans of both Keeler’s irreverent songwriting and his deep-thinking explorations into life’s pains and mysteries will find much to treasure in this new collection.

Bozeman is anticipating it's next community read with One Book One Bozeman. The upcoming title will be announced on August 20th. Care to make a guess what title it will be? Here's a hint: This title is Historical Fiction, set around the turn of the 20th century. Tune in next week for the next hint!
