We are so excited to welcome Mimi Matsude for July's Art Walk, Friday July 13th at 6pm. Mimi has made up a wild assortment of small pieces for Art Walk that she'll be selling tonight.

Artist Mimi Matsuda paints to inspire people to preserve and protect wildlands and animals. After a decade of park ranger naturalist work for the National Park Service, she paints full time, highlighting the lands and animals she holds most closely to her heart. She has shown her work in numerous venues across the Western United States and illustrates and paints commissions for groups such as Trout Unlimited, Yellowstone Association, Yellowstone Park Foundation, MontanaPBS, Museum of the Rockies and many other environmental non-profit groups.

You have probably seen Mimi's work around town in galleries, museums, visitor centers, and even on utility boxes here in the Gallatin Valley. Her cards are favorites among the staff here at the Country Booskhelf. We hope you'll take a Walk on the Artsy side with us!
